  • Notice of Incorporation (CoR 14.1)
  • Memorandum of the Constitution (MOI) (CDR 15.1 A)

If the proposed name is rejected, the company may still be registered and the registration number becomes the name of the company incorporation. An approved name then be submitted later. Application to reserve a name (form CDR 9.1) may be done electronically.

Companies with annual taxable income of more than 1,000,000 ZAR need to be registered for VAT, the Tax Form 101 is submitted. The Registry and the South African Revenue Service are linked electronically. Once a company is incorporated with the appropriate office of the South African Revenue Service,it is advisable to assign a number of income tax that is assigned to that entity.
